LOVE OF LABOR: A PHENOMENOLOGICAL INQUIRY OF UNPAID OVERTIME EXPERIENCED BY BPO EMPLOYEES

چکیده

The present study investigated the unpaid overtime experienced by BPO rank-and-file employees and its effect on their career growth, well-being, labor earnings. How affects morale productivity of employees, how responsive organization's policies are to needs. researchers have used a phenomenological approach achieve study's objectives identifying causes effects pressing issues workers. Additionally, key informant interviews focus group discussions in gathering data among participants using an unstructured interview questionnaire collect information responses based experience with guide questions. As such, found that detrimentally overall concerning work quality performing job; has no direct correlation growth; however, it significantly affected earnings well-being employee, numerous violations been discussed identified including miscalculation pay or salary disputes, intimidation from superior forcefully overtime, decreasing original incentives be received what agreed upon compromised interest rendering work.
